Festival Spectacle

Festival season is upon us. Soon city parks and abandoned warehouses will be transformed into meeting grounds filled with celestial tunes and dreamy auras. Individuals will gather together to dance in an awkward unison while unknowingly showing off their creative styles. The music surrounding them seems to play infinitely louder into the night as effortless nu-age bohemians capture their experience on Instagram. As one scrolls aimlessly on their timeline you are bombarded with images of heavily saturated hippie accessories.

Around this time of the year, inspiration lies everywhere, whether it be in nature, music or the many outdoor activities around the city. However, nothing will get your imagination flowing better than a series of mood boards set on capturing the real, timeless essence of festival-fashion.

From laid-back denim cut-offs to flowy maxi dresses,  wild fringed suede and gigantic floppy hats, Here are 12 of the most iconic festival staples of all time.

2014 Grammy’s:Best Dressed List

Last night was the premiere of the 56th Annual Grammy Music Awards and boy was America sending mixed signals left and right. The night started off great with the music industry’s Power Couple Beyonce and Jay-Z opening up the stage with a very seductive and playful performance of “Drunk in Love”. Which lead into the predictably dressed LL Cool J, trying to add some humor to the night. There were some highs, Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons’s Collaborative Performance and some lows, Macklemore winning every Rap Category????? But overall it wasn’t as awe inspiring or fun like the Grammy’s are supposed to be known for. One things for sure there were definitely some Red Carpet Eye catchers!

Taylor Swift is Glowing in Gucci.

Amber Rose Post Baby Bump in Naeem Khan.

Rita Ora Looking Lovely in Lanvin.

Ciara giving pregnant radiance in Emilio Pucci.

Anna Kendrick stands elegantly in Azarro.

Miranda Lambert oozing bombshell in Pamella Roland.

Beyoncé catching stares in Michael Costello.

Chrissy Teigen Radiates in Johanna Johnson.

Colbie Calliat ravishes in Ezra Santos.

Fashion Find of The Day

Okay so how badass is this leather jacket?! The Pointed Princess Shoulders, The Quilted Texture,That one button closer, and Those Gold Threaded and Jewel blessed accents! This Jacket Screams Daring. I want to throw this on my back and pair it with my Purple Pork Pie Hat.

Sadly, I can’t find it anywhere. I spotted it while I was scrolling through my Tumblr blog. I don’t know what the cost and who the designer is. It looks very Chanel Meets Versace Circa 1996.

I challenge myself to find this jacket. Even if it takes me until 2040. I will find you.
